Quickly read the status of ethernet twisted pair cables for faults such as open circuits, shorts, crossed pairs, reversed pairs and split pairs in seconds. The tester's compact design is very user-friendly, and enables the tester to be conveniently carried to any job site. This small hand-held tester includes one master unit and one remote unit easily operated by one person testing patch cords or installed cables. To prevent loss or damage, the small remote unit can easily slip into the master unit for easy storage. Includes: an easy-to-read fault display for high speed testing, a debug mode for detailed fault identification results, an auto sleep mode and power off switch to decrease power consumption, a built-in tone generator, and a low battery indicator. Plus this tester verifies shield integrity.
