Pigment black ink provides sharp, black text. Dye-based colors produce vivid, borderless photos up to 8.5" x 11". Printer has a maximum resolution up to 4800 x 1200 dpi and prints as fast as 11 ipm in black/white and 6 ipm in color. Simplex design prints and scans single-sided documents.
